Welcome to my first blog post.

It's been a bit of a time here in Hebden Bridge. Storm Bert did its best to scare the wits out of us with flooding and felled trees, last weekend. Luckily all of our lovely shops and business came away unscathed.

I'm now very much looking forward to seeing you at Hebden Bridge Open Studios which will be my last event of this year. It promises to be a busy weekend as the Christmas Market is also taking place this weekend. With this in mind I heartily recommend you use either the park and ride from Mytholmroyd, or let the train take the strain for the weekend as parking will be limited. After last weekend's drama it'll be lovely to share some cheer and enjoy looking forward to the winter holidays with you all.

New Creations

I've been busy in the studio recently creating things to share with you. My Winter Wreath & Moonlight design is now available as a greetings card and as a wooden decoration perfect for hanging, or gifting. 

I have also been creating a new tiny woodblock print Welcome Home' inspired by walking home in the now dark, winter evenings.

Shop Locally 

This year I will be making the effort to shop local and independent where possible for cards and presents. It's been a rough year for us all and even buying a small item goes such a long way to help small businesses.
